REV. ATUNWA CHARGES CHRISTIANS TO BE MORE PREPARED FOR THE SECOND COMING OF CHRIST: Urges them to be optimistic about Nigeria.

Christians across the country have been called upon to see the second coming of Jesus Christ as a wake up call especially, at a time when the indications of the end time signs, as mentioned in the scripture are obvious for all to see.

The minister in charge of the Evangelical Church of Winning All (ECWA) Kulende, Sango Ilorin, Reverend Dr. Emmanuel A. Atunwa disclosed this during his new month Sunday service sermon. He charged the congregation to play their parts in preparation for the Lord's second coming which he said would happen at a time when know man knows, hence the need for all to be prepared.

Rev Atunwa, in his sermon titled "Assembling The Nations for the Second Coming of Christ", noted that Christians shouldn't be carried away by the luxuries of life which he said have not only limited time, but belong to the world. Instead, he called on Christians to be more focused on Christ who is alter and the finisher of their faiths. 

The cleric who took his sermon from the book of Matthew 28:18-20, also called on parents to wake up to their parenting responsibilities by bringing up their children in the ways of the Lord in order for them to become worthy ambassadors of the church, their families and the society at large. According to him, a true Christian child should be decently identified as such anytime, anywhere.

Going further, the man of God also charged Christians never to relent in praying for the peace and progress of Nigeria despite all the challenges presently confronting the nation. Adding that, children of God should be optimistic that the challenges of today will be a thing of the past in Nigeria as God liveth.

Rev. Atunwa further noted that the commission to reach out to the whole world is not negotiable for which he noted that the only mandate which would be accounted for thereafter is how far and the level at which Christians were able spread the gospel of our Jesus Christ and his second coming.
