IN THE SPIRIT OF RAMADAN: OTUNBA TAIWO JOSEPH CONGRATULATES MUSLIM UMAH Charges them to be more closer to Allah

Muslim faithful have been urged to extend charity and support to the less privileged throughout the month of Ramadan in order to receive more blessings from Allah.

The Chairman, Bola Ahmed Tinubu Solidarity Vanguard (BATSV) Kwara State Chapter, Otunba Taiwo Joseph (OTJ) stated this while identifying with the Muslim Umah on the holy month of Ramadan.

In a statement made available to the public, OTJ urged Muslim ummah to use the holy month of Ramadan to move closer to Almighty Allah by engaging in good deeds, charity, humanitarian services, supplications as well as seeking forgiveness at all times.

The statement noted further that through almsgiving and firm commitment to a better world in our own corners, the faithful to live by the spirit of this holy month in which sins are forgiven, destinies are reshaped for good, and servants of God are given a brand new opportunity to get closer to the Creator. 

Otunba Taiwo Joseph charged the faithful to beseech Allah for peace, improved security, and sustainable development for our country, Nigeria, and for Kwara State in particular, as we begin a new chapter in our democratic journey.

In the statement, the Kwara BATSV Chairman also informed BATSV members accross the state that activities initially lined by the association would be on hold until after the holy month of Ramadan.

He however, congratulates Muslims accross the world for witnessing another glorious month of Ramadan, stressing that such privilege should be used to foster peaceful co-existence among religions adherence in Kwara and Nigeria at large.

He therefore wished everyone Ramadan Mubaarak.
