We Are Proud of Kwara RAAMP Under Gov. AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq-World Bank TTL

The Kwara State Governor, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has again been commended for his focused and value-driven policies, geared towards creating more opportunities for the people of the state.
The World Bank Task Team Leader (TTL), Engineer Tunji Ahmed gave the commendation in Ilorin during his working visit to the new office accommodation allocated to the State Project Implementation Unit (SPIU), of the Rural Access and Agricultural Marketing Project (RAAMP) in Kwara State.
Engr. Ahmed, who commended the Governor for the provision of a new office accommodation for RAAMP officials, also thanked him for the prompt payment of RAAMP counterpart funding, which is an indication of his readiness for effective implementation of RAAMP activities in the state.
He disclosed that the state government partnership with developed agencies has further facilitated more worthy developmental projects to the nooks and crannies of the state.
According him, "it is important for the officials in the Kwara RAAMP project to try their best to justify the trust reposed in them by ensuring the success of the project in the state, especially looking at government investment on the project, adding that to whom much is given, much is equally expected". 
The World Bank TTL, who emphasized the need for team work among the sfaff in order to achieve the needed results, affirmed that the project at the national level, is proud of Kwara and assured the state of further interventions in the nearest future.
Earlier, the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Works, TPL Olorukooba Isiaka Yinka, who also doubles as the Chairman, State Project Management Committee (SPMC), had welcomed Engr. Tunji Ahmed and appreciated him for the visit to Kwara RAAMP office.
In her remarks, the RAAMP Acting Project Coordinator, Engr. Ibrahim Habibat Abiodun also thanked the TTL for the visit and assured him of their readiness to work for the progress of the project in the state.
