Kwara RAAMP Signs Phase II Contract Agreement for Backlog Maintenance, Spot Improvement and CDS

Governor Abdulraman Abdulrasaq's led administration has been described as a result and people oriented government, evidently from it efforts to make life more bearable for the people of the state, especially the rural dwellers.
The State Project Coordinator, Rural Access and Agricultural Marketing Project RAAMP, Engr. Dr Isaac Kolo disclosed this while giving her remarks during the symbolic signing of  contract agreement for the Backlog maintenance, Spot Improvement and Cross Drainage Structures of Rural Roads Upgrading in Kwara.
The acting Project Coordinator, who expressed his confidence in the State Governor as a leader who has done well and will do more to further justify the trust reposed in him by the people of the state, thanked him for his leadership style and support for RAAMP Project in the state.
Meanwhile, the Contract Agreement for the Backlog Maintenance, Spot Improvement and Cross Drainage Structures of Rural Roads Upgrading in the state was formally signed between the Kwara State RAAMP and RAFALI Nig Ltd, Tundis Nig Ltd who are to handle the LOT 1 and 2 of the roads, then LOT 1,2 and 3 of the roads are to be handled by Swalley Nig Ltd, Tafat Highland Gold and Halekem Nig Ltd.
Engr. Kolo, therefore called on the contractors to justify the trust reposed in them by the project through carrying out an impressive job as well as working in line with the lay down schedule by which the assignment should be completed.
In his response, the Managing Director,  Swalley Nig Ltd, expressed his appreciation to the Kwara State RAAMP for counting the companies engaged worthy of doing the job.
He, however, assured that an impressive job that would stand the test of time shall be done, and report would be submitted as and when due. Adding that, the contractors will not let down Kwara RAAMP as it is prepared to justify the trust reposed in them.
The historic event was witnessed by both officials of the Kwara RAAMP Project Implementation Unit (SPIU) and other contractors.
