NUJ to feature Kwara RAAMP Coordinator at 47th Media Parliament.


The Kwara State Coordinator of the Rural Access and Agricultural Marketing Project (RAAMP), Engineer Isaac Kolo, has been picked as the Guest Speaker at the 47th Media Parliament of the Kwara State Council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ).

The event, scheduled for Monday, February 24th, 2025, will take place at NUJ Press Centre, Offa Road, GRA, Ilorin, beginning at 11:00am prompt.

In a statement signed by the Chairman and Secretary of the NUJ Media Parliament Committee, Fatima Rasheed and Sodiq Adebara respectively, the session will provide an insightful discussion on the impact of quality road infrastructure on rural-urban migration.

According to the statement, the theme, "Rural-Urban Migration Through Quality Road Infrastructure," aims to highlight the critical role of road networks in enhancing connectivity, fostering economic growth, and improving the living standards of rural dwellers.

It stated that the media parliament is a platform for stakeholders in the media industry to deliberate on challenges and opportunities in road infrastructure development.

The statement urged members of the State NUJ to attend in large numbers and be punctual.
