Spokespersons should not have street fighter mentality.. They should be governed by etiquette to uphold public morality.

A spokesperson for any corporate organization not to talk of the presidency is a PR manager. That's why organizations don't recruit spokespersons from the motor parks or narcotic arena. . Their job is governed by decorum and ethical protocol of public engagement. Never take a job that will destroy your image and the credibility acquired for years based on certain ideals & principle except you are fake ab initio.

Don't take a job that will make you become a rascal except you are a potential rascal, and the opposite of all you stand for notwithstanding the benefits.

Yoruba appreciate the need for decorum and ethical engagement in communication, that's why they say, "Ti a ba ran ni nise eru, a fi ti omo je".(if you are sent an errand as a slave, you deliver it with the etiquette of a free born). Please go and check how Mr. Tunji Oseni did his job moderately without engaging in street fighting as Obasanjo's spokesperson despite handling a bullying president unlike when Okupe and others succeeded him and they literally became unscrupulous public wrestlers with the opposition, social critics and imaginary enemies in their public correspondence careers.

Some frivolous and garrulous people with motor park character were also spokespersons for different presidents. We all know them. I won't forget Femi Adesina in an hurry with his "your life or your farm" declaration in public communication during herdsmen deadly invasion of farms for free grazing of their cattle, and his ever restless and ever insulting twin brother, Sheu Garba. The two I always described as "Ibeji Oran" during their polemical street fighting with any reasonable critic in sight during Buhari Seriki Integrity failed regime. Most excitable automated Abobakus who defended that ruinous regime are now blaming the Buhari for destroying Nigeria before Tinubu resumed to damage the nation further than he met it. Abobakus have no soul and no scruples. In fact, Abobakus are subhuman who don't love their nation but slavishly love their leaders and paymasters for partisan, ethnic, religious and pecuniary interests

Young people shouldn't believe in "bolekaja" style of public engagement by the presidency or any public office holder. . A good spokesman doesn't attack, lie, or engage in one on one polemical street fighting, rather, he explains and explains, , clarifies, clears doubt with credibility , because the presidency represents or should represent the highest moral rectitude even in provocation from which citizens should learn decorum. . This is because the whole nation/world is its constituency with a role modeling function to our youths . It's a moral burden of the office.

The mistake of some spokespersons is to think they are talking for the partisan party in power, hence they go berserk on duty.. Party spokesmen can go mad, indecorus if they like, but spokespersons for the president, governor, LG chairman or for any organization that deals with people are not expected to be uncouth, vitriolic or irritating. .

Madmen can learn from government spokespersons but it becomes odd when spokespersons seem to learn from the attitude and character of madmen. That's dangerous.
